In the region of Western Greece, 30 Kilometres away from Patras, there is a small town called Aigio that still preserves its own essence and local traditions, without being overwhelmed by the mainstream tourism.
Being a great supporter of protecting cultural heritage, Karan Creative Media produced a mini documentary series, made of 3 episodes, that highlights the cultural identity of Aigio region.
This was an interesting project as we chose a peculiar approach to promote specific topics, trying to adapt a special view.
With marvellous drone shots and amazing close-ups, we managed to show the vibrancy of Aigio and its different landscapes.
Each video focuses on 3 different characteristics of Aigio cultural identity: food, art and landscapes.
From the internationally famous raisin, to the traditional pasta and fruits, Aigio is indeed extremely rich in terms of food variety.
However, this diversity is also transferred in its artistic expressions, that go from traditional instruments to historic archeological sites and neoclassical architecture.
Last but not least, this small city will really surprise anyone with the amount of different sceneries it can offer: from the coastline to the lagoon and so much more, Aigio is definitely a place to visit, promote and protect.
In this video, Karan Creative Media demonstrated again its unique perspective as we wanted to display the different places through an unusual view.
We decided to show the city through a specific angle and vision, we filmed the diverse panoramas trying to capture movements and energy.
The mini doc series was funded by the European Regional Development programme of Interreg Greece – Italy.
